The District Kadhi and Luwero Muslim District Department heads have started County Tours aimed at sensitizing, Training and registration of Imaam’s and Sheikhs.
The District Kadhi has urged Muslims to stick to Unity, development and supporting government programs such as Parish Development Model, Emyooga and other programs.
Kadhi has instructed County Sheikhs to register Mosque and County Saving groups based on the doctrines and norms of the Islamic faith to empower Muslims economically, The District Imaams and Duats Sacco is aimed at improving the welfare and livelihood of our communities.
Sheikh Nurudini Ssembuusi the Assistant Secretary for Daawah urged Imaams to go for upgrading in order to have IPLE certificates, Shahadat Idaadi if they are to spearhead the Dawah propagation. He thanked Imaams for their support to the District Annual Mauledi and urged them to support District Annual Mauledi and Darasa.
Shk Nurudini promised to organize special Jumah Khutuba’s for Imaams, He called on Preachers to Preach peace, Love, Unity and development.
The Secretary for Zakat, Halal, Social services have called on Muslims to propagate Islam and other development Islamic programs through sensitization programs.
